A home remedy kit for natural acne

Acne or pimple is a common problem affecting men and especially women of all age groups. Acne is formed when pores of the skin gets clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Hence oily skin is more prone to acne when compared to normal and dry skin. Acne mostly appears in areas that contain the oil glands like forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, back and trunk. Acne is most common among adolescents in the age group 15 to 30 and generally disappears after 30yrs of age.

There are different kinds of acne like white heads, black heads, cystic acne and pimples. The hair follicles that are clogged with oil and look white in color are called white heads, while black heads contain oil and also skin cells that are tightly packed. The pus-filled acne which appears red in color is called pimple. Cystic acne is a bit more severe and is formed when a pimple gets broken under the skin than in the surface.

    Just boil 4 tablespoons of dried basil leaves in 1 cup of water. Steep for 10 to 20 minutes. Apply it on the affected areas after it has cooled down.
    * Aloe Vera Treatment: Aloe Vera juice extracts promote healing and prevent skin infections. Split the Aloe Vera leaf in half. Apply the juice by rubbing it directly to the skin. Aloe Vera is also an incomparable skin cleanser.
    * Lemon for Acne: Clean the face by applying lemon juice with cotton ball. The acid in lemon flushes out the dirt in the pores and leaves the skin fresh and clean. Use the steam clean method and help loosen dirt and oil. Bring the lemon juice to boil and then put towel over the head and trap steam. After that, wipe out excess oil and dirt on the skin with cotton balls.
