Aromatherapy Essential Oils

Aromatherapy essential oils are extracted from various parts of plants, and have innumerable benefits. Most of these possess several medicinal qualities, from helping to treat acne to boosting the immune system. The essential oils are treasured for their therapeutic effects, depending on the plant from which they are derived. Common illnesses such as coughs and colds can also be relieved using essential oils. Lemongrass: Apart from being an effective insect repellent, the oil is used for personal care in products such as shampoo to render shine and luster to dull, damaged hair. It also helps in warding acne, if used in the right proportion, as instructed by the physician.

Eucalyptus: Acts as a good antiseptic, and is useful for colds, coughs, viral infections, bronchitis, rheumatic conditions and muscular aches.
