Ayurvedic Institute is a non-profit organization that teaches the principles of Ayurveda, providing good education in a supportive environment. Established during 1984, The Ayurvedic Institute has been recognized as the leading Ayurvedic School and health Spa for teaching Ayurvedic medicines that are traditional to India, and also for offering ancient ayurvedic therapies. The Ayurvedic healing practices that are being followed, includes Panchakarma cleansing, herbs, acupressure massage, Sansrit and Jyotish (vedic astrology) and Yoga.

The Institute attempts to enhance the integration of Ayurveda, through health care professionals by incorporating it in their clinical practices, and through other individuals by bringing it into their daily life. Ayurvedic Institute makes use of Vedic approach to teaching and education, by teaching students the theories and practices of Ayurveda.

The Ayurvedic Institute was established as an educational, non-profit corporation during 1984 at Santa Fe in New Mexico. The institute is governed by Corporate officers and Board of Directors, and the main goals of the institute include integration of Ayurveda with modern yoga, medicine, jyotish and other healing methods to bring about harmony and good health. The programs that are being taught for these purposes are similar in content to those taught in traditional Indian Ayurvedic Colleges.
