Banish dead skin with natural Do-it-Yourself scrubs

Clear skin sure makes a beauty statement. Exfoliation is the most important step in achieving a glowing complexion. It helps in removing dead skin cells, making way for new ones to emerge. Face scrubs are the easiest way to exfoliate. Here are a few do-it-yourself face and body scrubs that will help you feel the difference.

Mix together 3tablespoons each of peeled and powdered almonds, oatmeal, milk powder and 5 drops of rose essential oil and store in an air-tight container. When required, take out a handful, add few drops of almond oil and make a paste. Massage on to the face, leave on for a minute and wash with tepid water.

Mix together one tablespoon of orange peel powder, half tablespoon of milk powder, five drops of lemon essential oil, a few drops of olive oil. Massage on the body in circular strokes, leave on for fifteen minutes and rinse with a warm shower.

Mix two tablespoons of tea leaves with a tablespoon of tomato puree. Massage all over the body, wait for twenty minutes and wash with warm water.

Take a tablespoon of chocolate paste, a teaspoon of milk and two teaspoons of sugar. Mix well, and massage on the body. Wrap with a warm towel. Relax for thirty minutes and rise with warm shower.
