Regular coffee consumers, particularly women, are less likely to develop diabetes, says a new study at the Minnesota University.
A data of more than 2800 post-menopausal women was analyzed, and the researchers discovered that those who consumed a minimum of two cups of coffee a day, all through their lives, were 22% less likely to [tag]develop diabetes[/tag] than women who abstained from coffee.
Experts are of the opinion that the minerals and compounds present in coffee beans, could enhance the insulin receptors sensitivity, and help the body in processing sugar in a more efficient manner.
On the whole, the benefits of coffee have just been piling up, and now a new invention added to the list!
