The research conducted on mice that were given pomegranate juice, experienced 50% less degeneration of brain cells, compared to their counterparts, who drank only sweetened water. This indicates that pomegranate juice helps cut risk of Alzheimer’s disease by fifty percent.

Also, researchers at Israel Institute of Technology are of the opinion that drinking 60ml of pomegranate juice everyday prevented the absorption of bad cholesterol in the body of diabetics and helped protect their arteries
