pports it from below need to be strong. If you do not use your muscles, you may lose them, and this is applicable to face muscles too. Facial yoga exercises strengthen the muscles under the skin. When the muscles get toned and grow, they give you a youthful appearance.

By focusing on your breath, you will be more relaxed, as deep breathing promotes better blood circulation in the face and body, which is an important factor for a youthful looking face.
Forehead: Forehead is the first spot on the face for appearance of wrinkles. Tone the muscles of forehead, thereby releasing tension and reduce the appearance of wrinkles by performing this particular exercise. Place the index finger of each hand, half-an-inch above the eyebrows. Try to lift the eyebrows upward, while pressing downward with index fingers. Repeat this 8 to 10 times.
Eyebrows: Sit in any variation of the lotus position. Place your index fingers on the outer edges of your eyebrows. Then gently pull your eyebrows away from each other simultaneously, an close your eyelids. This is said to be a brow smoother.
Eyes: Sit upright with shoulders over your hips. Open your eyes slightly wider than normal and hold. Exhale and slowly look to your left. Inhale and look back to centre, again exhale and look to the right. Repeat the sequence 10 times. This exercise works on the ring muscles of the eyes, and helps prevent sagging skin and crowâ€™s feet. Another simple exercise to relax muscles around the eyes, is the wink exercise. To begin with, sit or stand comfortably, with posture in good alignment and head tall. Inhale and close, or wink your left eye halfway, while keeping right eye open. Hold for a second or two and release. Repeat in the opposite eye. Repeat the procedure several times on both eyes.
Lips: To plump lips, suck in air through your nose, then hold breath as you blow air back and forth between your cheeks for 10 seconds, as if swishing mouthwash around. Then exhale like you are blowing a horn. Repeat three times.
Face: Inhale through your nose, make fists, and squeeze your facial muscles. Now exhale through your mouth, stick out your tongue, roll your eyes up and open your hands. Repeat three times.
Double chin: Stand comfortably. Gently raise your head from your chest and tilt it back as far as possible. Close your mouth tightly, so that you feel the neck muscles stretch. Count to ten, relax and bring your head back to normal. Begin by doing this exercise once a day and then gradually increase it to ten times a day. By doing such simple facial exercises daily, you can add more symmetry to your face, and slow down the aging process. It is never too late to tone your muscles.
